Sem câmera / No camera

Estou tendo problemas aqui. Minha câmera quebrou, infelizmente. Mas andei fazendo borboletinhas e um álbum muito bonitinho, cujo passo-a-passo está aqui. Até ter câmera novamente, postarei pouco, menos que o normal.

I'm having some trouble. My camera broke, unfortunatly. But I've doing some pretty butterflies and a very nice photoalbum, it's instructions are here. Until I have my camera back, I'll post less than usual.

Dentre outros inconvenientes, meu gato Tofu machucou feio o olho, acho que numa briga. Fiquei desesperada, achando que ele ficaria caolho, mas já levei no veterinário, já estou tratando e o problema está diminuindo.

Among another problems, my cat Tofu is having a serious problem in his eye. I think he got hurt in a fight. I was desperate, thinking he would go blind of that eye, but I'm already treating him and the vet said he's gonna be alright.

Pensei em começar a traduzir meus posts para inglês. Afinal, origami interessa a muita gente ao redor do mundo, inglês é praticamente um idioma universal e eu realmente preciso praticar o meu.

I'm thinking about translatin my previous posts to English. Afterall, a lot of people around the globe likes origami, English is spoken pratically everywhere and I really need to practice mine (so fell free to correct me).

Vício pouco é bobagem

Sabe essas pessoas viciadas em e-mail, que checam de meia em meia hora? Eu sou uma delas. Uns dias mais, outros menos.

I'm one of this people addicted by e-mail, checking it every 30 minutes. Some days more, others, less.

Acontece que descobri por acaso um diagrama explicando como montar o ícone do Gmail e achei muito legal!

It happens that I found out a diagram showing how to make an origami Gmail icon and I loved it!

Fiz, tirei fotos, transformei em cartão pro namorado, tirei mais fotos, fiquei de esperar até o "mesversário" pra entregar, mas sou ansiosa, então duvido que consiga.

I've made one, took pictures, made a card for my boyfriend, took more pictures. I was going to wait until our "monthversay" to give it to him, but I'm a very anxious person, so I gave it earlier.

Sim, esse background fofo é realmente do meu e-mail. Eu escrevi o texto lá, dei printscreen, montei no paint, editei tamanhos no photoshop, imprimi e escolhi um que ficasse legal com o origami e desse para ler. Bom, eu consegui ler, vamos ver de ele conseguirá!

Yes, this cute background is really from my e-mail. I wrote the text there, printscreened, used Paint to join the pictures, edited and wrote in Photoshop and printed in diferent sizes. I chose one that looked good with the origami and was good enough for me to read. Let's see if he'll be able to read it also.

Para quem quiser mudar o fundo do Gmail, basta ir em Settings, depois Themes e escolher. Em Labs tem muita coisa legal também! Até "desenviar e-mail" tem como fazer, adicionando um dos aplicativos novos!

If you want to change your Gmail background, just log in, go to Settings, then Themes and choose yours. There's a lot of nice stuff in Labs also. Even an app that "undo sent e-mail".

Blutenball

Bom, houve uma série de transtornos no final da cadeira de Psicologia da Criatividade. No fim, acabei fazendo um relatório de percepção criativa sobre um hobbie meu, o Origami. Para isso, fiz o Blutenball, que já estava doida pra fazer, mas não tinha tempo. E achava que era muito difícil, porque não estava encontrando diagrama.

I've had a serious of problems in the end of the period with Creativity Psicology. I end up making a report of creativity percepciot about my favorite hobbie, Origami. I've made the Blutenball for this class. I was eager to make it, but didn't have much spare time. I thoght it was dificult, because I coudn't find the diagram.

Aí entro no Diagramas & Cia e vejo que Isa fez um passo-a-passo e um vídeo! Quer coisa melhor? Aprendi rapidinho e foi supersimples. Até diagrama de montagem tem lá.

But looking at the blog Diagramas & Cia, I saw that Isa made a step-by-step and a video! Coudn't ask for something better! I've learned quickly and it was very easy. There's even an explanation of how to put it togheter.

Dei o de correntinha para a professora, como parte do trabalho (que pode ser visto aqui) e o com continhas e tsuru para uma amiga, Denise, que divide o CdB comigo e outras três criaturas.

The one with little chain, I gave to the teacher, as part of the work (can be read here, in Portuguese) and the one with beads and a tsuru went to Denise, that writes in CdB with me and other 3 girls.

Denise's Blutenball in detail. I used this image as the cover of the paper. It was so pretty I didn't want to give to the teacher! This kusudama is a Rocky Jardes creation (tks to Isa for que info). I haven't found anithing on him, except for this other creation, the Flower Ball.

O contador de visitas do blogger deu defeito e desapareceu. O site que usei para colocar contador no Conversa de Banheiro não aceita mais uma url e simplesmente estou com preguiça de achar outro agora. Acho que deixarei sem...

The visit counter provided by Blogger stoped working and desapeared. The site I use with Conversa de Banheiro to count visits doesn't take more than one url and I don't want to search for another right now.

Bom, vou para o Balance, desanuviar a mente.

Erros no Layout

Fiz um Blutenball para um trabalho da universidade e em breve postarei fotos aqui. No momento estou lutando contra o layout porque surgiram vários errinhos e estou tentando ajeitá-los. Obrigada por todas as visitas!

Butterfly Cube

Quando minha mãe viu o kusudama que fiz pra Luana colocar no carro fez "Eu também queeero!". E mãe é mãe, né? Fiz um pra ela no mesmo dia. Só que um modelo diferente, que ela escolheu.

When my mother saw the kusudama I made for Luana, she anked "I want one to!". And what woudn't I do for my mum? I've made her a kusudama the same day, but a diferent model, chose by her.

Outro Butterfly-shaped Cube, muito bonzinho de fazer e que já está devidamente instalado no retrovisor dela. Detalhe: se a cordinha do Loop ficou curta, essa ficou comprida! Kkkkkkkk!!!

Another Butterfly-Shaped Cube, very easy to make and promptly "instaled" in her car mirror. The Loop was too short, but this one is too long! Hahahaha!! I'll post a picture of it in the car someday.

Loop Vermelho

Depois de muita enrolação, devido à falta de tempo, preguiça e esquecimento, fiz esse Loop para uma amiga.

After a long time of lazyness, lack of time and forgetfullness, I've made this Loop for a friend.

Era para ele ser pendurado no retrovisor do carro, mas acabei deixando a cordinha muito curta. Ela ainda não veio pegar, quando nos encontrarmos vou sugerir que prenda no espelho com uma fita preta de cetim. Acho que funciona e fica bonitinho. ^^

It was suposed to be hanged in her car mirror, but it end up too short. My friend didn't show up to pick it yet, but when we met, I'll sugest she uses a satin cord to tie it. I think it will work and look cute. =)

Usei verniz geral para empermeabilizá-lo, mas descobri que o brilho de esmalte incolor (de unha mesmo) é mais bonito. E deixa o papel mais durinho.

I used varnish to protect it, but found out that transparent nail polish looks better.

Lua, venha pegar seu kusudama, mulher! Já tem gente na fila pra roubar!! Hihihihi!!

Na minha empolgação aprendi a fazer essa flor de cerejeira também. Estou numa época em que os temas do gmail, twitter (@fernandaeggers) e iGoogle são todos de flor de cerejeira. Pense numa menina empolgada! hehehe!

In my excitement for cherry flowers, I've learned to make this one. All my themes (gmail, twitter, iGoogle) are cherry flowers right now. =)

Away

Olá!

Estive away por um tempo. Fim de período + Conversa de Banheiro tomando meu tempo. Não que seja ruim ter outro blog. Fazia tempo que não escrevia um blog "sério" (não que esse não seja, mas esse não é de escrever textos enormes... heheh) e dividi-lo com amigas está sendo maravilhoso.

Como me meti em alguns projetos, as postagens aqui e lá talvez continuem raras durante as férias.

E como voltei a bordar, publicarei outras coisas aqui além dos meus origamis.

Mas fiz um monte de coisinhas que ainda não exibi, portanto pelo menos essa semana haverão posts novos! =D
